LiveOak Apartments was created to provide residents with a perfect balance of stability, support, opportunities and autonomy.
Located in San Marcos, Texas, LiveOak Apartments is a quaint 5-unit apartment complex.
Each unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a shared kitchen, laundry area and living room.
The apartments are next to the historic district and 7 blocks from the charming downtown square.

Assistance with ordering medication, assistance coordinating healthcare & therapies, advocacy during doctor appointments.
24/7 Staff Support
Daily staff support including supervised medication administration, overnight staffing and assistance with activities of daily living.
Meals & Shopping
Three meals a day plus snacks, transportation to the store and assistance with shopping for items such as clothing and personal items.
Structured Daily Activities
Support in creating routines and schedules with meaningful and purposeful activities.
Transportation
Transportation to appointments, activities, community events, doctor's appointments and employment.
Money Management
Assistance with budgeting, banking and paying bills.
Social Gatherings & Community Outings
Regularly scheduled individual and group outings to community events and activities.
Cleaning
Assistance with cleaning rooms and doing laundry.
Employment & Volunteer Pursuits
Assistance in obtaining employment or a volunteer position.
Meet Chris
Chris moved to LiveOak from New Jersey in 2009 and subsequently moved to the LiveOak Apartments in 2015.
Since moving to her own apartment, Chris has adopted a cat, found a job on the San Marcos Square, and learned to budget and grocery shop.
She has also made several lifelong friends, many of which she has met through her church, exercise class and job.
Chris sustained a brain injury as a child and has some memory deficits.
However, she has established wonderful relationships with the staff at the LiveOak Apartments and
has learned to seek their support and guidance in areas such as medication management,
budgeting, advocacy during doctor appointments, and assistance with transportation.
Chris is a wonderful example of how LiveOak Apartment residents can take full advantage of staff support and community access to live their best life.
